FACE-TO-FACE WORKSHOP:
Technology Deployment for In-Building and Private Wireless Networks
4G and 5G cellular networks inside buildings are based on a variety of network architectures and spectrum bands. New business models have also emerged to subsidize deployment of such networks instead of just relying on financing from mobile network operators. Enterprises who have mainly used Wi-Fi as their only private networking technology now have 3GPP based options to either deploy their own managed private LTE or 5G networks using lightly licensed (rest of the world) or shared licensed (USA) mid-band spectrum or subscribe to a dedicated 5G private network slice from mobile network operators. Utilization of FR2 spectrum bands like mmWave with careful RF planning for indoor venues should also be considered where significant capacity enhancement is required.

WEBINAR: Orchestration and Automation of 5G Network Slices
The evolution of 5G brings great experience for the consumers and tremendous opportunities for the Service Providers to generate additional revenue streams. 5G Network Slices allows Service Providers to assure and deliver guaranteed SLA to their customers. Introduction of disaggregated RAN and RIC (RAN Intelligent Controller) facilitates many customized features for the network slices, such as Service Assurance, admission control, energy savings. Every opportunity comes with complexities to manage and orchestrate such complex deployments across multiple geographical sites connecting RAN, Core, and Transport domains. In this talk we will talk about the Service Management Orchestration (SMO) of end-to-end network slices across multiple domains. We will also cover RIC (RAN Intelligent Controller) and how it plays key role in 5G RAN deployment to provide various custom features and use cases.

WEBINAR: Tackling the High-Capacity Antennas Cost vs. Capability Curve Slope
An Overview of High-Capacity, High-Performance Antenna Solutions to Reduce Operators Costs and Maximize on Investment: The surge in demand for 5G and 5G+ networks necessitates higher data throughput to accommodate a growing number of users, devices, and applications with increased data rate expectations. Densely populated areas, such as concerts, stadiums, highways, and airports, pose significant challenges in meeting the massive capacity demands with traditional antennas and mMIMO (massive Multiple Input Multiple Output) solutions. The traditional approaches lead to a sharp increase in operational expenses (OPEX) and capital expenses (CAPEX) for operators, emphasizing the need for innovative and cost-effective multibeam antenna solutions. Operators are confronted with the challenge of balancing the escalating capacity requirements with the need to control costs efficiently. Paramount importance is placed on reducing the total cost for operators while maintaining or improving network performance. Innovative and cost-effective multibeam antenna solutions are identified as a key factor in achieving this cost reduction. Exploring the fundamentals of multibeam antennas, including their design principles and functionalities. Detailed analysis of the pros and cons associated with multibeam antennas and mMIMO technologies with insights into the performance and cost considerations that differentiate these technologies. Considering the critical role played by high-performance multibeam antennas in addressing the challenges of escalating capacity demands. Innovative solutions that strike a balance between high performance and cost-effectiveness

WEBINAR: Achieving Ubiquitous Connectivity for Future Vehicles
Today‘s automotive customers and OEMs demand high-performance mobile network services. The existing mobile network infrastructure and performance do not meet the requirement to be connected everywhere. An architecture and technology approach to solve today‘s challenges for future vehicle communication (connectivity, coverage, and capacity): Digital connectivity architecture (in-vehicle), vehicle distributed antenna system (vDAS) architectures & concepts; 5G FR1 MIMO, 5G mmWave, satellite (NTN) broadband, beamforming antennas; Synergies to the E/E architecture, e.g., for Software Defined Vehicles (SDV).

FACE-TO-FACE WORKSHOP:
Automotive Radar and ADAS Evolution for 2030 and Beyond
Driven to massive progress and innovation in SoC techniques and massive AI incorporation, a dramatic trend towards central processing is observed. For vision systems this has been the trend and has led to intelligent central units and simple “stupid” camera heads. Can we expect the same path in automotive Radar? A second potential innovative path is radar networks. Can we envision radar networks that provide the radar performance of real imaging radars (today 48x48 RxTx)? Examining state-of-the-art technology innovation, assessing centralised and distributed architecture innovation. Identifying potential future development paths for SoC providers, Radar-Tier 2 and Radar-Tier1. Assessing optimum architectures for L1-5 vehicles and considering interconnection bus options.
