Joe Madden,
Bio
Joe Madden has been working in wireless technology since 1989. During the '90s he acted as a business unit manager for Superconductor Technologies Inc, covering their commercial business areas, and was instrumental in STI's successful IPO in 1993. He worked at Spectrian Corporation from 1997 until its acquisition by REMEC in 2002. As VP Marketing, he led the transformation of Spectrian from a single-carrier amplifier supplier into significant multicarrier power amplifier market share. More recently, he has been involved in consulting and short-term assignments in wireless, ranging from product marketing and market analysis to serving as acting CEO for a supplier of cellular receiver hardware. Joe also took a major role in the spinout of Avago Technologies from Agilent Technologies in 2005, the largest semiconductor LBO in history at that time.
Joe holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics, cum laude, from UCLA and has published over twenty articles/presentations in the areas of Molecular Beam Epitaxy, RF filter and power amplifier technology.
