Workshop Background:

Since the Founding of IWPC in 1998, we have frequently developed and organized workshops with companies who are looking to grow their MMwave/THz products and markets.

After a careful review of the many current MMwave/THz markets, we decided to explore the following in this workshop:

  • Communications Products

  • Consumer Products

  • Industrial Products

  • Medical Products

  • Automotive/Traffic Products

  • Safety/Security Products

Experts in each of these areas will outline their markets and requirements and what is needed to expand and grow their products and markets.

NOTE:  IWPC organizes separate workshops covering selected specific markets - which will NOT be covered at this workshop, namely:

  • Backhaul   (Planned for January 2011)

  • Automotive Radar  (Planned for February 2011)

Workshop Goals:

The Goal of this workshop is to review a number of MMwave/THz Products and Markets and to explore what is needed from the MMWave/THz industry (components, materials, packaging, assembly & testing) to expand and grow these products and markets.
