WEBINAR: Preparing for Mobile Communications Above 100 GHz - RF Technologies for Extreme Throughput Wireless Applications

As mobile communication requirements continue to explode beyond 5G, current solutions using spatial multiplexing in bandwidth-limited sub-6-GHz frequencies, suffers from crowded spectrum occupancy. The use of frequencies above 100 GHz is already on the horizon—but also breaks the current CMOS-centric approach. Understanding the latest development in CMOS and III/V semiconductors will be key, as this combination alleviates frequency limitations of CMOS. The design of heterogenous platforms offers significant benefits in output power and efficiency, while providing a small form factor even with flexible beamforming architectures, enabling extreme speed point-to-(multi)point links. Exploring the roadmap of 100 Gb/s links above 100 GHz, combining integrated CMOS and III/V devices with advanced RF system, architecture and circuit concepts to reach an e2e energy consumption significantly below 1 nJ/bit.

WEBINAR: The XRR-Factor: Smoothing the Road from ADAS to Full Autonomy with a Single Chip

How automakers can leverage reliable, versatile, and affordable multi-range 4D imaging radar. To overcome the Level 3 roadblock to full vehicle autonomy, OEMs and Tier 1s need to address the limitations of current ADAS technologies. On the hardware front, the issues include unreliable performance, low resolution, limited range, and lack of robustness. Letting down the software and algoside are system incompatibility, integration hurdles and sheer code volume. And that’s before getting to grips with overall complexity, spiraling costs, and the dangers posed by the irony of automation.

WEBINAR: Combining LIDAR, Radar and Camera: Sensor Fusion Challenges and Solutions

Cameras and LiDAR view the environment around the vehicle differently. LiDAR has lower resolution than cameras but it is much more robust to difficult conditions (harsh weather, low light, etc.). Sensor fusion, and especially raw-sensor fusion, is instrumental in optimizing the all-around performance of multimodal perception systems.
