REALIZATION AND DELIVERY OF
THE 5GNR VISION
Managing multiple technologies and multiple frequency bands including layer management for multiple LTE and NR bands, Interaction of LTE, 5G NSA and 5G SA. Considering the operation of a mix of NR FDD and TDD at low, mid and high bands, as well as best practices for using Dynamic Spectrum Sharing (DSS) to help transitioning to 5G NR.

Introduction
Many experts believe that Stand-Alone 5G NR will accelerate 5G adoption and services and T-Mobile and its partners have achieved a number of significant milestones for standalone architecture (SA) 5G, including tests in which SA and Non-Standalone 5G devices operated with active sessions at the same time, in the same cell. taking 5G networks to the next level, which means preparing the world for standalone 5G. T-Mobile launched 5G late last year using its 600 MHz spectrum, and now covers more than 200 million people and more than 5,000 locations around the U.S. This workshop will explore how standalone 5G, paired with the broad network assets of T-Mobile and Sprint, will accelerate 5G adoption and services and transform wireless.
Workshop Goals
• Assess 3GPP Architecture Options 1, 2 and 3 and co-existence of LTE, 5G NSA and 5G SA
• Explore interaction of LTE, 5G NSA and 5G SA including the management of multiple technologies, frequency bands and layer management for multiple LTE / NR bands
• Consider the operation of a mix of NR FDD and TDD at low, mid and high bands
• Understand best practices for using Dynamic Spectrum Sharing to help transitioning to 5G NR
• Assess specialized network archictectures for new 5G
network service segments• Explore network evolution from
LTE with VoLTE to 5G NR with EPS-FB to all services over
