Introduction

What have we learnt from 5G deployments? Considering benefits of RAN virtualization, O-RAN near-Real Time RIC use cases, RAN architectures supporting new verticals, e.g. public and private MEC, etc.

Workshop Goals

    • Exploring RAN architectures and use cases for non-coherent and coherent multi-TRP techniques, 3GPP high-precision positioning architecture and use cases
    • Assessing V2X architecture and use cases in licensed and unlicensed band spectrum
    • Understanding use cases and network architectures to support Uncrewed Aerial Vehicles (UAV)
    • Considering new techniques being investigated and developed on the road to 6G.
