Description:
4G LTE has become the fastest developing mobile communication technology ever with
global forecasts indicating that by 2015, there will be more than 200 live LTE networks
in over 70 countries using 38 spectrum frequency combinations. However, the
global adoption of LTE services risks being hampered by device interoperability
issues unless harmonized spectrum band plans can be achieved.
Despite the disjointed nature of current LTE deployments, there are certain significant
trends that indicate the 2.3 - 2.7 GHz LTE bands (i.e. Quad LTE Bands 40, 7, 38,
and 41) could constitute the first wave of global roaming devices with huge market
appeal. The IWPC 2.3 - 2.7 GHz band working group brought together key RF
front-end subject-matter experts who have identified well-performing RF front-end
architectures for an integrated RFFE module covering all 2.3 - 2.7 GHz LTE bands,
which can facilitate the design of global roaming devices and further develop the
ecosystem.
This directory provides a list of component parts
which may be utilized in architecting solutions for 2.3 - 2.7 GHz MMMB User Equipment.
